My Journey: From Playing Dress-Up to Power Dressing with Purpose

Clothes have always been my favourite form of creativity — a colourful canvas where confidence and expression came to life. As a child, I moved easily between twirling in dresses and striding out in bold trousers, fascinated by how an outfit could shift my energy. Friends would ask, “Where did you find that?” because even then, style was my language.

As I grew older, that instinct became intentional. In university and early in my career, I discovered the emotional power of colour — inspired by my dad’s “colour of the day” ritual. I realised how a single shade could influence mood, presence, even mindset. My wardrobe became my happy place where play and personality aligned.

Motherhood changed that. My palette dimmed, my confidence softened, and getting dressed became practical rather than personal. I barely recognised the woman in the mirror.

Until one day, whilst scrolling my old pictures and videos, I decided to return to myself. Slowly, I let go, rebuilt my wardrobe and my confidence — choosing sizes that fitted me, colours that lifted me and pieces that made me feel visible again. Each outfit became an act of self-respect.

Sharing this journey opened the door to my purpose: helping other women reconnect with their reflection. Today, I am featured for my style in Sunday Bestseller book “Fearless” and known for standout style and presence.
